Join the Minecraft server

Do this once on each Windows PC. It takes about a minute.

1. Download the setup file

   Then open it from your Downloads folder.

2. Windows will try to stop you. It shows “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info, then Run anyway. Then click Yes when it asks for permission.

   A black window opens, prints a few lines, and waits for you to press a key. If it says the home DNS server answered, it worked.

3. In Minecraft, choose Multiplayer → Add Server, and enter this as the address:

   rivendell

You only need to do this once. After that the server is in your list forever.
